Classes take place on Saturday mornings during term time from 9am until 1pm
each running in order of ages, for 1 hour. Entrance is by application
(not audition) and an application form can be
downloaded
here. Fees are
currently £45 per term for all groups (except the Drama Tots which
is £30 for a 10 week term). Revues showing the children's abilities run every two years.
We are affiliated with the
NAYT (National Association of Youth Theatres)
which keeps us in touch with other youth groups both locally and nationally.
'Drama Tots' Group
Ages:
3 -
5 years
Day & Time: Tuesday mornings
10.30 - 11.30am -
Our youngest group introduces children to the world of theatre.
£30
per 10 week term.
Group 1 - Juniors
Ages:
5-9
years
Day & Time: Saturday mornings
9am - 10am -
Our youngest group offers the children a chance to develop their confidence
and self expression through mime, movement, story telling and theatre games.
Group 2 - Juniors
Ages:
10 - 12
years
Day & Time: Saturday mornings 10am - 11am -
In this
class the
children are encouraged to develop their self expression and creativity through
movement and improvisation while learning social skills and co-operation.
Group 3 - Juniors
Ages:
12 - 14
years
Day & Time: Saturday mornings 11am - 12pm -
The aim
of this class is to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in which the
students can study many aspects of drama. The class works on script reading,
improvisation, role play and theatre games.
Group 4 - Seniors
Ages:
14 - 17
years
Day & Time: Saturday mornings 12pm - 1pm -
Our senior group focuses on developing drama skills to
a greater depth, with more emphasis on script work and structured improvisation,
as well as preparing for auditions where necessary. .
Terms and Conditions

All classes will start promptly and good
timekeeping is essential - any lateness must be accompanied by a good reason
- persistent lateness will not be tolerated and may result in termination of
membership

Fees must be paid on a term by term
basis (with week one for a new child being the exception as I am happy to
let parents try out the class for one week to see if their child likes it)

If your child cannot attend a class, I
would very much appreciate a phone call to Jacqui or Debbie's mobile (07762
201687) (even at the last minute) so that we are kept informed

We reserve the right to refuse a place
or terminate lessons to any child who is deemed unsuitable for classes
