The Players Theatre We are fortunate to have the use of The Players Theatre, purchased in 1977 by The Hurst Players, an amateur society formed in 1936. The Theatre's facilities include an 85 seater auditorium with a 28 channel computerise lighting system and an extensive p.a. system including a 9-channel mixer driving a 6-speaker Auditorium Effects System.
